She was used extensively by the Directors of the Grand Junction Canal Co in the 1930s and 1940s and was transferred to British Waterways in 1950. On this particular model you can tell she's a good boat because she has the original cot berths and could actually sleep 9! These yachts have a great reputation for solid build and excellent sea-keeping. They came in two flavours: a triple keel and as in this case, with a retractable centreboard for better windward performance.
