Classic seakindly long keel cruising yacht. S/Y Khepri is No 2 of 20 of these boats that were built. Currently moored, in Kinvara, Co. Galway on the West Coast of Ireland, Khepri has been cruised extensively, both by present and previous owners. In past 10 years, we have been to Mediterranean, Canary Islands, Madeira, Azores, UK, France, Spain (3 times) & Portugal.

Unfortunately, time constraints have meant that we have not been able to use Khepri as much as we would like in recent years, and thus the reason for selling.

Khepri comes very well equipped, and is ready to sail away.

Video above, although poor quality, was taken by my young son in 2009, as we were crossing Biscay in a strong blow, with very confused seas. Khepri (and Monitor Self Steering) handled all this with no issues.

Specifications

Engine(s)

The engine in Khepri is a Bukh DV 36, directly cooled. Although not a hugely powerful engine, it will push Khepri along a 5 knots, at 2,200 RPM. At this rate, the engine burns approx 2 Litres per hour. This gives Khepri a range of alomst 800nm under engine (through calmish seas).
